Dr. Dirk Baldeweg
Director
Dr. Baldeweg joined Buss Capital in 2005, where he is Managing Director responsible for the structuring of equity funding provided by German investors for containers, ships and real estate. He is also a Director of Buss Global Holdings Pte. Ltd. where he participates in overseeing the coordination of German fund-raising activities and Singapore-based investment activities. Before joining the Buss Group in 2005, Dr. Baldeweg founded ConsultingKontor, a small business consultancy focusing on medium-sized German companies. Prior to that, he was at PriceWaterhouseCoopers from 1997 to 2002 as business consultant.
Dr. Baldeweg holds a combined degree in business and engineering from the University of Hamburg and a doctorate degree in business.
Dr. Johann Killinger
Director
Dr. Killinger joined the Buss Group in 1991 (his family was a minority shareholder) establishing the logistics and logistics real estate divisions. In 2002, he acquired all the shares of the Buss Group. In 2003, he established Buss Capital, a leading German KG house primarily involved in the financing of containers and container ships. The Buss Group is also a 37% shareholder of August Bolten, the second oldest German shipping company established in 1801, which is primarily active in the bulker business. As Managing Director/Chairman of the Buss Group, Dr. Killinger oversees the strategic direction of the group. Dr. Killinger is also a Managing Director of Buss Capital and a Director of Buss Global Holdings Pte. Ltd.
Dr. Killinger has a doctorate law degree from Universitaet Freiburg and prior to his involvement with the Buss Group, he was employed at Roland Berger Management Consultancy.
Danny Wong
Director
A seasoned veteran in the container leasing industry with more than forty years of experience, Danny founded Raffles Lease Pte. Ltd. (“Raffles”) in 2006 when he joined Buss Capital Funds Singapore Partnership (“BCFSP”) as Managing Partner. As the Managing Partner of BCFSP from 2006 through early 2012, Danny was responsible for defining, implementing and managing BCFSP’s overall business, investment and operational strategies. As the former President of Raffles, Danny drives its business strategy and oversees the operational strategy. He also serves as a director of Buss Global Holdings Pte. Ltd.
Immediately prior to joining BCFSP, Danny was the President of Grand View Development (HK) Ltd (“GVC”), now known as UES International (HK) Holdings Ltd, which he joined in 2002. He was responsible for its strategic development and operations. During his tenure, he successfully established private equity funding for GVC via the German KG market and helped propel GVC to become one of the of top ten lessors in the container leasing industry.
Danny has an EMBA in Shipping, Offshore and Finance from Nanyang Technological University and BI Norwegian School of Management.

Carrie Chan
Chief Financial Officer
Carrie oversees the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions for the Buss fund entities in Singapore, including audit, tax, compliance, and legal matters. As Chief Financial Officer, she plays a key strategic role beyond core finance, with direct involvement in loan restructurings, structured financing, and complex deal transactions, including asset-backed securitisations.
Her responsibilities extend to managing critical relationships with external stakeholders such as legal counsel, auditors, and financial institutions, where she is actively engaged in negotiating financing terms and facilitating deal execution.
Prior to joining Buss in 2014, Carrie was the Country Manager for the offshore floating production business division of Norwegian based Fred. Olsen & Co, where she oversaw Singapore operations and finance. She previously held the role of Finance Manager in Neptune Orient Lines Limited, and began her career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.
Carrie holds a Master of Accounting from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Accounting from Nanyang Technological University. She is a Certified Practising Accountant with CPA Australia and a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Tom Chen
Senior Advisor
Tom currently serves as Senior Advisor to BGM, providing strategic guidance on acquisition and divestiture opportunities. In this non-executive role, he leverages his deep sector expertise and extensive global network to support the firm’s growth strategy, with a focus on sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities.
Previously, as Managing Director, Tom was responsible for end-to-end acquisition origination and execution, including divestitures. He has significant experience across loan and capital markets, fund management, and FX and rates structuring. Throughout his tenure at Buss, Tom has been instrumental in over USD 3 billion worth of transactions across the Buss Global Funds platform.
Prior to joining Buss, Tom was at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Capital Markets Division where he executed G3 bond transactions across high yield and investment grade credits.
Tom holds a BSc in Economics (First Class Honours) from the London School of Economics, awarded in 2005.
